If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Job Summary</b><br/>The Customer Solutions Engineer works as a critical technical partner for our Sales teams ensuring the right integration approach and technical solutions are being utilized to support our customers’ requirements.  Communication skills, problem solving and a passion for continuous improvement will ensure success in this role.</p><p>The role provides consultative sales support to the UPS Capital Sales organization to enhance and improve customers’ business with value-added and configurable solutions, actively engaging on discovery calls and demonstrating solution options. The successful candidate will create value for customers by analyzing customer needs and proposing solutions; actively participating in successful solution implementations. The role will require a thorough understanding of customers’ processes and business objectives and capitalize on the value that UPS Capital can offer their business. They will actively participate in the implementation phase of the solution development, deployment plan definition, and the implementation scheduling. This position also provides ongoing analysis of implementation projects, plans, and templates through statistics, outcomes, lessons learned, and post-implementation audits as defined by the implementation project plan.</p><p>In this role you will be a self-starter responsible for identifying and prioritizing projects. You will work across the entire organization and leverage wide-ranging experiences and skill-sets to find the best solution for the problems.</p><p><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Customer facing engagement with key stakeholders to deliver the correct implementation approach for both the client and UPS Capital.</li><li>Develop project plans based on customer feedback and assigns tasks to resources to ensure project are completed on time and according to specifications.</li><li>Review documents to create work orders outlining solutions to be developed, associated tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be provided.</li><li>Identify and work with all affected groups and functions to manage project impact.</li><li>Provide support by developing training materials for related groups.</li><li>Report on project status, field resource activity, and training initiatives.</li><li>Contributes to new product development.</li><li>Provide system support.</li><li>Resolve and document project specific issues.</li><li>Coordinate product deployment.</li><li>Supports and maintain stakeholder relationships.</li><li>Verify implemented changes in line with project plans.</li><li>Develop reports and maintain reference documents.</li></ul><p></p><p><br/><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience in a customer-facing customer technical role.</li><li>Demonstrated experience building technical product demonstrations.</li><li>Business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field – Preferred</li><li>Software development experience using Agile practices.</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of SQL, and database modelling best practices.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li></ul><p><br/><b>Employee Type:</b><br/> </p>Permanent<p><br/><span>UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
