HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRY FLOATER On Call

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Must have open availability

• To maintain cleanliness of assigned public buildings and to residents in their homes or individual resident rooms in the assisted living facility and skilled nursing facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have prior housekeeping experience.

• Dust and polish furniture.

• Vacuum rugs/carpeting, rooms, dining rooms, etc.

• Clean kitchen and kitchenettes in Assisted Living residents’ rooms.

• Wash windows, inside.

• Empty trash.

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and showers.

• Shampoo, disinfect floors and carpeted areas.

• Strip, wax, and buff floors.

• Clean guestrooms as needed.

• Maintain Aquatic Fitness Center floors.

• Perform other duties as assigned by residents with supervisor’s approval.

• Must have prior housekeeping experience.

• Experience in basic cleaning methods.

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
