Summary
The Vice President Commercial Card Relationship Manager is responsible for the growth and retention of the assigned portfolio. The primary focus is to drive revenue growth by identifying and executing on optimization opportunities to increase commercial card usage or cross selling additional payment solutions based upon client’s identified needs. In addition to revenue growth, the individual will be responsible to assist clients with their program management needs and support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Retain and grow assigned commercial card portfolio
Responsible to manage profit margin of assigned portfolio
Responsible to identify new cross-sell opportunities when presented
Identify and support client’s unique program goals and objectives
Consult with client on best practices and areas of opportunity
Develop multi level relationships with clients
Develop and foster working relationships with internal partners
Have a working knowledge of client’s strategy and processes related to card usage and payments
Develop solutions tailored to meet client’s objectives within the confines of EB&T’s solution set
Assist client to become proficient utilizing commercial card solutions
Advanced product knowledge and usability of EB&T’s commercial card solutions
Working knowledge of product and client profitability and demonstration of knowledge in decision making including but not limited to pricing
On-site client visits twice a year with key clients
Regular re-occurring reach out to key client contacts
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal influence, networking, project ownership, and workflow management skills
Ability to work autonomously to find qualified leads and transition to sales
Thorough knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, compliance and banking regulations
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure while managing various competing demands
Strong inside sales and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Professional demeanor and phone voice with well-groomed appearance
Self-starter, outgoing personality and able to address problems in a prompt, professional manner
Team oriented, possess a positive attitude and works well with others
Personal transportation that is reliable to visit customer sites and bank branches, if necessary
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment and good judgment in team oriented environment.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus three years business to business sales experience.
