WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a hands-on detailed oriented Senior Manager, AR to join our growing Finance team and to help support the continued expansion of our global business. This candidate will be lead our Accounts Receivable team. This person will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, accurate and timely closing of the monthly books, and will assist with the annual audits and SOX compliance.  Additionally, this individual will innovate and drive efficiencies through continual evaluation of our systems and business processes. This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Revenue Controller and have exposure to the Senior Executives. 

WHO YOU ARE

  • 8+ years of collections and accounting experience
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company and with SOX controls
  • Strong people skills and can work collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior members on team
  • Understanding of basics of accounting, debits, credits etc.
  • Experience with Bad Debt and CECL reserve estimates
  • Background building out new tooling and systems in order to streamline processes
  • Experience working in a high-growth, publicly traded company, is preferred
  • Solid organizational, analytical, and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Solid experience using NetSuite, is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with international teams across time zones
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment, successfully juggling multiple entities, projects, and deliverables

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $110,000 - $126,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $125,000 - $144,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
