Job Responsibilities:
- Calmly perform routine to difficult drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks while adhering to Geotechnology’s health and safety plan.
- Independently maintain and repair drill rig or equipment to ensure the optimal operating condition
- Follows Geotechnology’s safety protocols extensively while conducting and participating in safety or jobsite tailgate meetings
- Efficiently supervise the Driller’s Assistant, make assignments, and ensure they’re following our safety protocol.
- Communicates daily with the Drilling Manager as to the day’s activities, equipment needs, and prepared field reports.
- Proficiently operate all vehicles and equipment in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in similar field-related activities.
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL
- Proficiency in conducting all routine drilling, sampling, and well installation activities
- Must be able to meet the physical labor demands of the job – including, but not limited to, lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods of time, kneeling, crawling, balancing, and using hands to handle tools and controls
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be willing to travel
- Reliable transportation
