We are seeking a detailed oriented candidate who is responsible to oversee, coordinate, and participate in the inbound processes and inventory management; the receiving lead will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming goods into inventory. The Receiving lead will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming goods into inventory, ensuring accurate deliveries, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, under the direction of the Inbound and Inventory Supervisor. This position is responsible assisting in the management and operation of the warehouse including leading and giving direction to warehouse team members.

- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels while ensuring high quality.
- Assist in managing the inbound team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including warehouse, outbound, and customer service, to prioritize containers efficiently.
- Oversee the receiving process, ensuring that incoming shipments are accurately logged, inspected for damages, and properly received into the system.
- Implement and maintain best practices for all processes dealing with incoming goods to prevent damage.
- Measure and address the effectiveness of team member performance.
- Monitoring product quality and ensuring parts meet standards before they are placed inventory.
- Communicate position expectations to team members.
- Ensure housekeeping duties as assigned to keep the warehouse areas clean and clear of debris.
- Maintain emails with a maximum of 24-hour response time during working hours.
- Enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and violations.
- Ensure the warehouse area is safe, clean, and organized.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years’ experience in warehouse environment.
- Minimum of one year experience in a lead role.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted (minimum three years’ experience).
- Computer skills including Microsoft Windows programs (i.e. Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to move parts and material up to 50lbs. in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend and lift throughout the day, manually unloading and loading merchandise.
- Ability to work at heights (up to 22 ft high on cherry picker)
- Ability to bend and stoop repetitively.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Ability to go up and down mobile stairs on a consistent basis all day.
