About the role

ORS Business Transformation Lead

The ORS Business Transformation Lead will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and enhancing business performance for the ORS service line through continued innovation and improvement to business processes. This role will support organizational change by working to solve integration issues and  inefficiencies in processes, communication, and tools with a focus on standardization, centralization, outsourcing and automation. Must be extremely flexible and open to collaboration and to adopting new ideas to resolve complex business problems. A successful fit for this role should be able to communicate, influence and persuade both business leaders and peers.

As a Business Transformation Lead, you will:

  • Partner with Business Transformation Leadership to determine and propose prioritization of areas for improvement within the ORS service line
  • Identify and track broken, inefficient, or unnecessary process and ways of working within or across functions and teams and communicate the improvement opportunity
  • Drive integration of acquired practices into “one firm” methodology of doing work
  • Drive continuous improvement and process innovation initiatives in the ORS service line to enable greater speed, productivity, and efficiency throughout the organization
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate measures or KPIs to report progress of initiatives and demonstrate impact of process improvements on function outcomes, productivity, etc.
  • Assist service line leadership build effective communication and targeted messaging to support transformation objectives.
  • Seek ways to drive adoption of new processes and technology for enabling business capabilities, value streams and business processes.
  • Collaborate with project and operational delivery teams to execute on identified projects
  • Identify work that can be leveraged to India team
  • Lead/participate in the analysis of business processes and recommend automation or improvement options with business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Implement improvements in system capabilities to enhance associate productivity and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and prioritize backlog of improvements based on the needs of the business as well as implement effective governance models and procedures to ensure excellence within the service line.

 What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; interest in Information Technology
  • Minimum 7 years of audit/accounting experience within a public accounting firm, CPA is a plus
  • Demonstrated technical accounting expertise and understanding of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Prior experience with various accounting applications and tools
  • Knowledge and expertise in the use of process flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, LucidChart)
  • Demonstrated experience with in-person and virtual group facilitation and change management techniques

  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders, providing reports on progress as well as identifying problems and solutions
