Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Dietitian Nutritionist II  HC to join the dynamic clinical team at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center

 

Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is a 257 bed acute care facility on the beautiful Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle serving Okaloosa County and surrounding communities. The facility provides services in the area of cardiology, ope n heart surgery, stroke, wound care, Women and Children's Care Program, Pediatrics, Trauma, Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation Center 

 

                                                                                 No Weekends!

                                                               3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the dietitian will be primarily responsible for providing nutrition care to patients in a wide variety of settings.

 

 The  Dietitian will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager:

• Provide inpatient nutritional care & medical nutrition therapy counseling for patients with varying medical diagnosis
• Work in critical care and is comfortable with nutritional support.
• Will have 3-5 years of experience
• Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work closely with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Have strong time management and organizational skills
• Be a self starter
