Integration Engineer

We are seeking a full-time remote Integration Engineer to join our behavioral health care organization in a mission-driven role that directly impacts patient care and operational efficiency.

Earn up to $114,000 DOE.

 

Position Details:

The Integration Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions in alignment with behavioral health industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, business acumen, and a flexible mindset that thrives in an evolving environment.

Key duties include:

• Decoupling decoupling databases, developing APIs, implementing secure messaging techniques, and leveraging automation to create scalable, compliant, and efficient integrations across various systems.
• Develop secure, efficient data access layers to protect PHI and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Refactor business logic from databases into Python-based microservices.
• Implement secure, encrypted messaging solutions for handling patient data exchange.
• Design and develop event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Ensure end-to-end security for data ingestion and processing workflows.
• Build secure RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI with OAuth2, JWT, and SAML authentication.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and logging for auditability.
• Develop APIs that expose database entities while maintaining data privacy and compliance.
• Develop automation solutions using UIPath RPA where traditional API integration is not possible.
• Automate data entry and reconciliation tasks to streamline behavioral health workflows.
• Ensure RPA bots are secure, auditable, and compliant with patient data protection regulations.
• Analyze and modernize legacy C#-based business logic, particularly in healthcare applications.
• Implement secure data transformation solutions when migrating from older systems.
