GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the EET - Elect Engineering Tec department at Greenville Technical College.
As an Electrical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching topics that include:
*Electrical Theory / OSHA Regulations
*Electrical Estimating / Blueprint Reading
*Electric Services
*Residential Wiring
*Commercial Wiring
*Industrial Wiring / Motor Controls with PLC experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-A certificate in a related construction field and two or three years work experience in a construction field as
an electrician, or
-A high school diploma with four to ten years Electrical experience in a construction field as an electrician, or
-A Master Electrician or Journeyman with at least three years’ experience as an electrician.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-The ability to communicate and teach students the knowledge of the Construction trades and tools and at
least three years work experience; or ten years preferred Electrical work experience.
-Hands-on experience and able to operate all equipment used in normal construction.
-Must have basic knowledge of Word and Excel and teaching experience.
-An Associate degree in a construction related field and three years of full-time work experience in
construction; or a high school diploma and five years of full-time work experience in construction.
-NCCER certification
