Procurement Financial Analyst

Job Description

Stepan is seeking a Procurement Financial Analyst to join our Procurement Center of Excellence team in Northbrook, IL. In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager – Global Procurement Center of Excellence. This position will lead the efforts in reporting global spend KPI’s and other such metrics, as well as partner with Supply Chain and Finance Leadership to establish savings targets and verify performance. Special focus is placed on processing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity for analysis through ownership of an artificial intelligence reporting platform. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Spend Analytics – Support provision of spend analytics for KPI’s, conferences, supplier meetings, and enabling sourcing strategy revision and development.
• Procurement Performance & Savings Reporting – Report on savings and overall financial value delivered to the Business and Supply Chain. Partner with Supply Chain and Finance Leadership to establish saving targets and verify performance. 
• Compliance Dashboard & Audit Reviews – Assist the Global Compliance Manager in compliance audits and dashboard reporting.
• Spend Analytic Software Owner – Assist in controlling day-to-day global use of our third-party spend analytics tool across the Company.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of financial and/or procurement analyst experience.
• Advanced Excel and/or Power BI skills.
• Experience with managing software and/or processes.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
