Job Description Summary

Our Food is Medicine group is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day execution of a new program to test the effects of utilizing behavioral economic principles to increase healthy food purchasing behavior among an urban population at high-risk of cardiovascular disease and food insecurity across Penn Medicine.

Job Description

The Division of Health Policy and Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day execution of a new program to test the effects of utilizing behavioral economic principles to increase healthy food purchasing behavior among an urban population at high-risk of cardiovascular disease and food insecurity across Penn Medicine. This position be housed within a larger initiative focused on reducing cardiovascular (ASCVD) risk, including Food is Medicine (FIM). Essential functions of this position will include but are not limited to: recruitment and enrollment of study participants; data collection and management in accordance with study protocols; following all IRB and human subjects policies and regulations; performing chart reviews; managing study-related materials and documentation; communicating with participants; prepare and manage study/pilot-related materials and documentation; conduct participant interviews and support feedback sessions to solicit patient feedback to evaluate and improve the program; and other research duties as needed.

In addition to the above, the Research Coordinator B will have demonstrated research and/or clinical experience and administrative skills.
