Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with experience in product design, particularly skilled in typography, icons, and graphic tees. We’re seeking an exceptional graphic designer with a passion for apparel product design. This role focuses on supporting multiple brands within our Apparel division, creating innovative and trend-driven graphic packages. The ideal candidate is particularly skilled in typography, icons, and creating artwork for a wide range of categories. Driven by curiosity and a proactive mindset, this creative leader will push boundaries and captivate our trend driven customer.

Partners:

  • Cross-Functional: Builds strong relationships with CF partners, advocating for team objectives while being solutions-oriented.
  • Design: Works collaboratively across two dynamic teams, supporting Apparel product.
  • Legal: Works with the Design Coordinator to submit verbiage to the legal team for approval.
  • CAD: Partners with the CAD team as needed, clearly communicating desired outcomes and providing feedback.
  • Print Development: Collaborates with the print development team, learning mill capabilities and providing input on results.

 

Process

  • Product Calendars: Maintains understanding of product calendars, tracking key benchmarks and deadlines.
  • Workload Management: Manages seasonal workload effectively, designing up to 40 styles per season.
  • Sample Preparation: Proactively prepares samples for product reviews to inspire and excite.
  • Color Separation: Skillfully reduces color palette to meet screen limitations while preserving design aesthetics.
  • Mill Package: Sets up mill packages accurately, ensuring flawless production execution.
  • Strike-off: Meticulously reviews mill submissions, identifying issues and advising effective solutions.

 

Business

  • Brand Awareness: Maintains a broad understanding of the Anthropologie business and customer base.
  • Brand Contribution: Contributes to the growth of own-brand products by supporting ESU, LL, and Chase design graphic needs.
  • Graphic Analysis: Stays aware of successes and opportunities through hindsight and pattern attributes reports.
  • IMU Goals: Supports goals by meeting deadlines, enhancing efficiencies, and ensuring clear package communication.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Product Design, or Fine Art preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience in the graphic or product design industry.
  • Demonstrates strong creative and technical skills in Adobe programs and stays updated with new features.
  • Experience with, or openness to designing with AI programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
  • Has working knowledge of technical platforms NED and Clo.
