Position Overview
**Up to $15k Sign-On Bonus**Our Behavioral Health Unit is a team orientated unit working together to make a positive impact on our patients. Our dynamic, tenured team works to assess, monitor, and educate patients and their families on treatments and medications for mental illness. You will be an integral part of a team of Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Mental Health Technicians, Rehabilitation Staff, and Physicians.

40Compensation Range:
$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience-----
Schedule:
Multiple shifts available
8 hour shifts; 7AM-3PM; 3PM – 11 PM; 11PM – 7 AM. Every other weekend, every other holiday
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assessing and evaluating patients to determine symptoms and risk factors
• Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
• Providing patient education and helping with patient advocacy
• Administering medications as prescribed by physician
• Providing detailed documentation for care
Qualifications:
• A valid RN license
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Previous experience in behavioral health preferred
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current NYS RN License
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
- Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
