Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of IT to lead our enterprise technology operations and drive the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across our manufacturing and distribution environment. This role is pivotal in transforming our digital infrastructure, optimizing business systems, and aligning IT strategy with operational growth.
The ideal candidate is a change agent who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. They will lead the full lifecycle of our ERP implementation while continuing to manage and evolve our IT systems, support automation tied to new equipment, and champion continuous improvement through technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a unified IT/OT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the integration of Cerro enterprise systems with industrial control systems (ICS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and IoT-enabled equipment to enable real-time data exchange, predictive maintenance, and process automation. Working with P&R IT, represent Cerro Flow as the Company IT lead for implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, CRM)
- Act as a liaison between Cerro, P&R IT and other service providers. Influence demand to ensure it aligns with strategic objectives and available resources.
- Help Cerro business units articulate their needs and priorities and work with P&R IT as relevant for delivery. Serve as the voice of the business within IT.
- Oversee Cerro data migration, system configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live stabilization
- Create training plans, visual aids, and role-based guides to support user adoption as relevant working with the P&R IT team
- Track and report Cerro dashboards for IT and security metrics, user feedback, value management and ROI
- Aligned with Group VP, IT and Cerro business, own the IT roadmap aligned with business goals
- Drive innovation, digital initiatives, and continuous improvement supporting Cerro aligned with the P&R VP, IT
- Lead IT involvement in Cerro Mergers & Acquisition activities, including system integrations and alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and map current workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role including Operational Technology exposure
- 3+ years of experience in ERP implementation and support, with focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Participated in ERP implementations within manufacturing and/or distribution environments
- Extensive knowledge of D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and CRM modules
- Experience with cost accounting, financial integrations, and manufacturing workflows in D365
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and SaaS deployment
- Skilled in MS SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware integration
- Proven ability to align IT strategy with business growth and opera
