Associate Director, Compliance Risk Monitoring Program  

The Ethics & Compliance Office (ECO) is accountable for our Company’s ethics and compliance program.  Reporting to the Director, ECO Corruption Data Risk Monitoring Program, the Associate Director will be part of a U.S.-based headquarters compliance team and manage compliance risk monitoring focused on corruption risk for markets in Latin America and Mid-Europe, Middle East and Africa.  The Associate Director will work closely with market and regional business stakeholders and other risk functions to drive compliance with compliance standards, controls and processes, and identify and mitigate risk.    

In this role, you will:

  • Be part of a team and help lead the development and sustainability of the risk monitoring program.    

  • Understand anti-corruption risks, policies, controls and processes and apply the risk monitoring program.

  • Conduct data analyses on financial, customer event systems, and other internal systems to identify risk and risk trends.   

  • Analyze and interpret risk data and communicate findings and insights in a clear and understandable way to market/regional business and legal colleagues. 

  • Serve as primary advisor and provide ongoing guidance and support to markets and regions related to risk identification, monitoring and remediation of compliance risks.

  • Work in collaboration with team within Ethics & Compliance Office to develop dashboards and models. Use these tools to identify, and monitor risk based on internal and external market events and implement innovative solutions to risk monitoring and illustration.

  • Develop an in-depth comprehension and expertise of higher-risk activities in the markets and regions to inform and evolve the risk monitoring program.

  • Partner with other teams within Ethics & Compliance Office to provide consistent and aligned guidance to the markets and regions.

  • Support and drive business ownership of compliance and local risk monitoring.

  • Develop and conduct training related to risk monitoring.

  • Solve complex problems with an in-depth understanding of market requirements.
     

​You are the ideal candidate will have the following:  

  • Bachelor degree in a related field

  • Financial reporting, data management, customer relationship management and/or other commercial systems.

  • Part of cross-functional teams and workstreams. 

  • Work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment that demands initiative and responsiveness.

  • Develop strategies that foster innovation.  

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Analyses and interpretation of risk areas and trends based on data.

  • Effective communication of risk insights leveraging data. 

  • Out of the box thinker and problem solver.   

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and organization skills.

  • Good judgment and growth mindset. 

  • Manage and complete projects timely and independently.

  • Effective collaboration across different levels of an organization.    

  • Work with urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
     

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Expertise working in a compliance or other risk function role.

  • Experience at a pharmaceutical, finance, or audit company.

  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen

Locations: Rahway or Upper Gwynedd

Employee Status: Regular Full Time

Travel: Yes, up to 10 % of the Time
