Job Summary:
Leads liaison services with discharge planners, hospitalists, physicians, congregate housing and nursing/rehabilitation facilities. Promotes and sells organization's services through client/contact meetings, event planning and other marketing activities. Generates appropriate patient referrals/admission by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Works collaboratively with management teams to develop agency goals and implement strategic action plans. Works independently to increase business targets, obtain contacts, and maintain relationships in the communities. Maintains an organized approach to territory management.
- Initiates new client contacts for home care services via telephone, person cold call or letter. Meets potential clients (i.e., physicians, employers, nursing home administrators) to introduce them to organization's services.
- Oversees scheduling of various functions, luncheons and breakfasts appointments, medical and community education forums and fair participation. Attends community networking meetings, and educates community service groups about organization's services.
- Oversees development of promotional and advertisement articles as well as news and feature stories in local public and company publications. Carries out complete sales and marketing process (contact, qualify, develop, close).
- Prepares a report detailing sales activity on a weekly basis. Tracks referral and admission volume for assigned departments
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
