KeyTronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Maintenance Support Engineer candidate to support 2nd Shift production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments. Drive process improvement and incorporation of new equipment. Ordering repair parts and tooling. Troubleshooting machine issues and process flow. Assist production in understanding the correct usage of production and supporting equipment.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

 

Maintenance Group:

  • Establish Scheduled Maintenance System to track and report on scheduled machine maintenance.
  • Establish system for maintaining an inventory of repair parts, wear items, and machine parts to stock in order to ensure minimal downtime during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or repair.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on maintenance and repair activities to engineering manager.
  • Work at continuous improvement of immediate response / help-desk availability for minimizing unscheduled machine downtime.
  • Direct and participate in installation of proposed any new equipment.
  • Schedule, supervise, and participate in maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled.
  • Review existing maintenance procedures for needed improvements (update where necessary), and create new procedures where needed.

 

Process Engineering Group:

  • Participate in Engineering Groups continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Function as a technical resource in manufacturing and process issues (help-desk support to Manufacturing and Documentation groups).
  • Responsible for planning assigned projects and for managing project constraints (budgetary time and material costs identified by the planning).
