Project and Construction Manager

As a Project and Construction Manager, you will inspire others and execute our capital projects within our Jackson, TN plant. In this role, you will be heavily involved in the day-to-day engineering and construction projects. Your keen ability to influence and plan will be what it takes to get the job done. You will partner closely with the engineering team as well as outside vendors and site leadership to plan, execute, and deliver various projects across the site.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Plan – Lead a portion of plant’s capital and capital expense planning, forecasting, and tracking processes for the facility related to Cost, Schedule, Performance, People Safety and Food Safety targets. You will utilize process’s defined by Kellanova Work Systems (KWS) and Kellanova Start UP Management (KSUM) to deliver successful project execution for projects at our site.
- Building Teams - Interact with design engineering, construction contractor, and drawing management personnel to improve overall capital execution performance and processes.
- Internal and External Partners – Leverage your people skills as you meet with internal and external customers including our Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External teams include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers.
- Financial Responsibility - Understand and apply Kellanova financial policies related to capital classification, asset set-up, capital guidelines and a few more.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Experience with direct supervision of contractors and construction activities
- Experience defining and leading project execution under multiple contracting strategies
- Demonstrated strong project fundamentals and work processes
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering/technical discipline and three (3) years of engineering/Technical experience that includes project management OR a High School diploma/GED and six (6) years of engineering/technical experience including project management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable computer software
- Experience with Autodesk CAD/Vault
Compensation
The annual salary range is $115,400 - $151,410, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
