725 - Custodian - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

The Custodian is responsible for general cleaning of properties.  This is a Second Shift position.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning
• Restroom Care
• Floor and Carpet Care
• Clean rooms – perform training according to established clean room procedures
• Special Projects and Tasks (Lamp replacement, Window washing, Pargo Instruction, Recycling)
• Maintaining and Ordering Inventory for RCI buildings in Cedar Rapids.
• Duties performed under minimum supervision.
• This is a 2nd Shift position

 

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Must be able solve mathematical problems and follow written or oral instructions.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.
