OverviewLiquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. An operated retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We offer 23 retail locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with a delivery radius reaching 80% of Kentucky residents.
As a General Manager, you will maintain the BRS brand by providing excellent customer service while driving sales through BRS products. You are developing the daily store's operations, including motivation the team to achieve store goals — strong leadership presence while enforcing all company policies and procedures, safety, and security.
ResponsibilitiesIncludes, but are not limited to:Oversee general operations according to BRS policies and proceduresInventory controlAssist in placing and reviewing inventory purchase ordersCollaborate with corporate, vendors, and buying teamOversee store appearance and ensure marketing and merchandising guidelines are followedApprove payroll and employee timecardsProduce payroll and controllable expense schedules weeklySchedule and staff the store to meet the needs of the businessInterview, hire, and train new employeesCoach team and provide guidance to improve customer experienceMaintain expert knowledge of productsProvide support and ongoing feedback of overall performance to store team membersPlan, prioritize and adjust schedules to drive sales while following payroll expectationsExecute marketing requirements and coordinate all promotional and event activitiesEnsure all pricing, signage, and display information is correctPerform cashier functions and ensure policies are followedMaintain store safety standardsReview store cleanliness and assist in maintaining cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, breakroom, and bathroomsManage deliveries and confirm customer service and safety are of utmost concernParticipate in product education classes and trainingProvide high levels of customer service, driving sales, and handling difficult customer situationsDemonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-taskEnsure all company standards are followed
Qualifications21 years of age or olderFive years of retail management experienceAbility to work full-time employment as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)Demonstrates strong comprehension, written, and oral communications skillsPossesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to customers and staffPossesses strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to count cash and make change accuratelyDesire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and servicesPrior experience in a team environment requiring professional and practical communication skillsAbility to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanorAssociates Degree or relevant work experience equivalent
