Our AI Transformation Office is at the forefront of driving this change, and we are seeking a dynamic leader to shape our AI narrative, foster internal collaboration, and measure the impact of our AI initiatives.

This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based in either Dallas or Houston, TX.

Role Overview

The AI Engagement Lead (Manager or Sr. Manager) will play a pivotal role in defining and communicating our AI strategy and roadmap, building a vibrant internal network to champion AI adoption & focus areas, and establishing metrics to evaluate the success and value of our AI solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a passion for AI-driven transformation, and the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Communicate AI Strategy Messaging: Craft compelling, clear, and consistent messaging about our AI strategy and roadmap to internal and external audiences, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build an Internal AI Network: Foster a community of AI advocates and practitioners within the company by organizing workshops, forums, and cross-functional initiatives to drive awareness, collaboration, and adoption of AI solutions.
  • Measure AI Success and Value: Define and implement metrics to assess the usage, impact, and business value of AI solutions, providing actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with department heads, project teams, and leadership to align AI initiatives with business priorities and promote a culture of AI-driven innovation.
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed about AI advancements and best practices to ensure our strategy remains cutting-edge and competitive.
  • Report and Present Insights: Create reports and presentations to communicate AI progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership and broader teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

For Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field plus at least 8 years of experience in strategic communications, change management, or program management, preferably in technology or AI-related initiatives, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

For Sr. Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field plus at least 10 years of experience in strategic communications, change management, or program management, preferably in technology or AI-related initiatives, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including at least 2 years of leadership experience

As well as:

  • Proven track record of building internal networks or communities to drive organizational change or technology adoption.
  • Experience in defining and measuring KPIs or success metrics for technology initiatives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, trends, and their business applications.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stake
