Job Description Summary:
The Asset Compliance Trainee supports the Compliance Managers and Site Managers, with a primary focus on projects under operations, ensuring the effective and compliant operation of renewable energy assets within the organisation. You will collaborate with various teams to support financial processes, compliance requirements, and overall operational efficiency. The role supports senior Asset Compliance in monitoring operation activities and Site Managers with the third-party interaction like O&M providers to ensure assets are performing safely with optimal efficiency.Job Description:
Main Activities
Support compliance tracker for timeline of deliverables.
Support project onboarding, including set-up of document repository on SharePoint and reporting.
Maintain and update permits tracker, obligations register, and documental archive for each asset.
Track and coordinate with contractors and vendors for work orders and completion in compliance with service agreements
Support reporting including monthly, quarterly, annual performance reports, corporate ESG sustainability reports, operational data submissions to government agencies.
Support SPVs governance engaging with local communities, landowners, and authorities , and where required coordinating with project partners for technical/financial regular reporting.
Support OPEX and budgeting processes, overseeing business-related PRs/Pos to ensure compliance with Company policies.
Support relationships with insurance brokers for claim assessment and follow-up.
Support service contracts and ensure fulfillment of related warranties in collaboration with the other COO areas (IT, HSQE, Asset Maintenance, Asset Excellence and Asset Performance).
Work in the creation and support of quarterly reports in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.
Support the local accounting advisor during year-end financial statement preparation.
Assist the audit firm during semi-annual and annual audit activities.
When required, behave as a backup of the Compliance Manager
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy or similar) or Industrial Organization
Additional education or exposure to economics, finance or asset management is a plus
Good understanding of energy assets or industrial plants
Advanced IT skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
Good knowledge of ERP Systems
