Design Engineer - Electrolyzer Stack Components

Operating in the industrial gases sector, they've secured substantial funding and interest for their innovative technology. They're now assembling an engineering and science team to commercialize their technology, aiming to deliver a market-ready product by year-end.

Job Overview: This pivotal role plays a key part in advancing the company's groundbreaking technology. While initial prototypes have proven its viability, we're now focused on creating prototypes for commercialization. Your main responsibility will be developing bipolar plates and manifolds for electrolyzer stacks. This includes collaborating with our modeling team for simulations and design refinement and working with manufacturing teams to determine cost-effectiveness and scalability.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in engineering or science
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of post-college industry experience
• Must have experience designing bipolar plates and manifolds for electrolyzers or fuel cells at a Tier-1 company
• Should have proficiency in CAD software and should have proficiency in simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or something similar
• Should have a working knowledge of metallurgy, materials science, manufacturing processes and/or electrochemistry
• Previous startup company experience is a huge plus
