Advanced Specialty Leader - Vascular Access

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Advance Team - Vascular Access

• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL and Elmhurst Hospital - Elmhurst, IL

• Full Time (1.0 FTE - 40 hours/week)

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

What you will need:

• Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing within one year (currently enrolled and passing a program)

• Minimum two years of previous RN experience

• Current Illinois State RN licensure

• Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do:

• Responsible for directing multiple specialty activities and personnel on assigned shift in order to ensure high quality patient care, teamwork, and coordinator of care.  Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, approves overtime, and monitors compliance for regulatory requirements.  Serves as resource person for unit personnel in resolving operation and patient care problems, acts as physician liaison, and role model for staff.
