Job Title: Sr. Accountant, Billing

Compensation: $85,000 to $105,000

Adswerve is seeking a Senior Accountant, Billing to lead and manage billing operations for our Media and Analytics platforms. This role will ensure accurate and timely billing, resolve billing-related inquiries, and support internal and external stakeholders with professionalism. As a member of the accounting team, the Senior Accountant will also collaborate on new projects and initiatives to enhance our financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Media month-end billing process, including audits of billing files, manual adjustments, and resolving margin review questions.
  • Maintain accurate Media billing rates in the system, including: entry of rates for new clients, updates to variable rates, and periodic audits of existing client rates.
  • Ensure invoicing preferences are collected for new customers and accurately reflected in the system.
  • Generate client-specific cost of sales entries for all Media platforms.
  • Act as the Finance team’s liaison with IT to resolve billing file issues effectively.
  • Analytics Billing: Manage customer billing for the following revenue streams: GA4 base platform fees, GSuite/Workspace, Google Voice, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Maintain strong internal controls over billing processes and document standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the billing inbox and address questions through Adswerve Connect and Support cases.
  • Gain expertise in SOW billing processes and act as a backup for the Senior Technical Accountant.
  • Collaborate with the Collections Analyst to resolve billing issues impacting collections, including coordination of customer purchase orders and invoice uploads to customer portals.
  • Assist in the month-end close process, including GA4 platform fee revenue analysis.
  • Track customer purchase orders and coordinate with the Account Management team to obtain updated purchase orders.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in billing processes, preferably in a technology or digital marketing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or billing-related roles.
  • Accurate, extremely organized, and highly detail-oriented.
  • Eager, go-getter who will take ownership of tasks and growth.
  • Proficiency in accounting and billing systems; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This position pays a base salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
