A00115Under the supervision of Director Nursing Professional Services, the Clinical Nurse Educator develops, provides, and evaluates hospital- based ancillary staff performance education within the Patient Care Service areas. The Clinical Nurse Educator - Ancillary Staff overviews education needs and performance requirements to develop programs that foster career growth and outstanding job performance for the ancillary clinical staff that contributes to department and unit goal achievement.Experience:3+ years experience in related clinical areasDemonstrated experience in planning, implementing and evaluating teaching/learning experiences. Experience in course development and delivery.Education and Training:Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Masters level preparation is desirable.License, Certification Registration:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Other Requirements:Current certification as an Instructor in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Demonstrates ability to communicate appropriately and effectively.
