The Challenge:
You'll be responsible for all day-to-day account management with Valve, the largest of Take Two's PC partners, working on maximizing revenue from product launches and catalogue promotions on Steam. You'll continue to develop the established close and collaborative working relationship between Valve and Take Two across all labels.
What You’ll Take On:
- Primary focus on the management and sale of T2 PC games as a digital download on Valve's Steam platform.
- Maintain positive customer-focused relationships to initiate and deliver revenue against T2 profit targets.
- Assume day-to-day contact with Valve, responding effectively and efficiently to requests from our labels, relaying platform requests to our partner and setting the standard for the highest level of customer service.
- Monitor customer performance to ensure proper execution of sales, coordinate effective promotional campaigns and liaise with internal labels to improve sales potential of all Take-Two products.
- Maintain a detailed and extensive knowledge of Valve’s Steam platform, maintain a database of critical platform functions, work with Valve to identify emerging business opportunities from new platform developments.
- Mentor junior Digital Strategy team members in operating critical Valve reporting and application development systems when needed.
- Take lead on communication with Steam as it relates to product launches, liaise with labels on QA process, promotional opportunities, pricing, and asset releases.
- Work with the first-party partnerships teams across all T2 labels to ensure campaign assets for Valve initiatives are briefed and delivered in a timely manner.
- Identify and offer solutions and strategies to achieve label goals for new and existing products on Steam, using best-in-class methodologies and all available and emerging Valve technologies.
- Coordinate globally with digital counterparts in different regions to align strategies.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of T2 analytics and data systems to provide recaps and analysis of sales activities for Steam, with further support as needed from existing and newly hired Sales Planning members. With Sales Planning / Global Planning support, this will include a review of sales performance on a by-title basis, sales and industry competitive trends, and may include some high-level sales forecasting.
- Mentor junior members of digital sales team in account management and communication.
- Support Director of PC Strategy with new business and extended PC-technology partner relationship management and explore new business opportunities with existing distribution partners, as well as long-term analytical and strategic projects to expand and enhance the overall T2 PC platform business.
- Represent T2 at select tradeshows and business meetings, including production and presentation of slide decks relevant to the Take Two PC business.
What You Bring:
- 6-8+ years of proven experience working in videogame account management and/or partnerships.
- Ability to work equally well autonomously and collaboratively with a distributed team operating in multiple time zones across the world.
- Plenty of experience handling and balancing relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Be comfortable presenting within your area of expertise to digital retail partners and senior internal staff, up to the executive level.
