The Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology is seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) to join a specialized imaging team supporting advanced molecular imaging and patient care.
In this role, you will perform complex PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures using sophisticated imaging equipment, ensuring the highest standards of image quality, safety, and patient care. Working with a high level of independence, you will be responsible for accurately capturing and documenting imaging data, maintaining compliant medical records, and collaborating closely with physicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate care to patients of all ages. Your work will play a critical role in supporting innovative imaging practices and advancing clinical and research excellence.
Target hourly rate: $63.85-$84.22

Required:
- Valid Certifications as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with either the Nuclear Medicine Technology Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch, State of California.
- Working knowledge of the above listed equipment.
- Reading skills to understand patient records, forms, technical procedure and policy manuals, and other related documents written in standard English.
- Speaking skill to collect and clearly convey information to people of various educational cultural, and economic backgrounds using tact, diplomacy, correct grammar and vocabulary.
- Interpersonal skills to work as part of a medical team by establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with physicians, medical staff, colleagues, co-workers, patients, and the public.
- Ability to set priorities to multiple tasks, shifting demands, deadlines, and a heavy workload.
- Writing skills to maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and logs.
- Ability to work with self-initiative and minimum supervision in the performance of nuclear medicine procedures.
