Job Description

The Financial Planning & Analysis team is looking for a Senior Adaptive Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the development of new Adaptive reports, models and dashboards. You will assist our business partners by developing and maintaining management reporting to improve decision-making. The Senior Adaptive Financial Analyst works to automate processes and leverage the capabilities of Adaptive Insights to optimize system efficiencies. As an in-house Adaptive expert, you will play a central role in managing and continuously improving our planning model within Adaptive Insights.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, design and maintain our Adaptive models, dashboards and reports to be used for all planning, forecasting, budgeting and month-end close analysis

• Design and implement Adaptive reports and dashboards that provide insightful KPIs and streamline information delivery to key stakeholders.

• Assist with monthly close, forecasting, reporting and analytical business unit support

• Create and maintain business and operational metrics to measure growth, profitability, expenses, efficiency and productivity

• Support operational and ad hoc initiatives and business projects across various business units

• Drive process optimization and identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and ensure data integrity within the Adaptive planning model

• Own and maintain Adaptive Insights as a system administrator and guide on best practices; from user administration to model building and routine enhancements

• Maintain Adaptive dimensions, levels, versions, accounts and attributes supporting our Adaptive models, formulas and calculated fields including modeled, cube and assumption sheets

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field

• 3-5 years of Adaptive Insights planning experience, Adaptive Insights certification preferred

• Demonstrated track record of creating meaningful Adaptive models, reports and dashboards

• Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis business processes to recommend best practices and provide Adaptive business process support

• Proficient in developing data visualization to display financial metrics, trends and key insights

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to successfully troubleshoot and solve problems

• Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets of financial and operational data

• Attention to detail and willingness to dig into the numbers to gain key insights

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong collaboration and presentation skills
