How will you make an impact?
As a Manufacturing Trainer II, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering training programs for manufacturing personnel. By enhancing employee skills and ensuring a thorough understanding of production processes, you will contribute to overall operational efficiency and quality standards.
What will you do?
- Deliver training programs to employees at various levels, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop training materials, including visual aids, to support learning and retention.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Utilize Jabil’s software packages and systems to track training progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide clear and concise written instructions and correspondence related to training activities.
- Support problem-solving initiatives by collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet training and production goals.
How will you get here?
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or training role preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong ability to present information clearly and respond effectively to inquiries from various groups.
- Proficient in operating a personal computer, including advanced knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and Jabil’s software packages.
- Solid written communication skills, including the ability to write simple correspondence and develop visual aids.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret graphs.
- Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and develop valid conclusions.
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions or standardized procedures with minimal variability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced PC skills and experience with Jabil’s internal systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and training methodologies.
