About the role

Senior Field Marketing Specialist – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Oracle is looking for an experienced, strategic, and technically fluent Senior Field Marketing Specialist to support the growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) across North America. This role is pivotal in driving demand, accelerating pipeline, and strengthening Oracle’s position in the cloud infrastructure market.

As a key marketing lead for OCI, you’ll develop and execute integrated marketing strategies focused on compute, networking, storage, multicloud, and AI infrastructure solutions. You’ll partner closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to create compelling messaging and technical content that resonates with decision-makers and practitioners alike.

The ideal candidate is both a cloud-savvy storyteller and a field-focused marketer—able to shape strategy, craft technical narratives, and activate campaigns that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • OCI Subject Matter Expert & Content Lead: Serve as the field-facing SME across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services—compute, networking, storage, containers, security, and AI infrastructure. Translate product features into high-impact customer value propositions and use-case-driven messaging.
  • Content Creation & Enablement: Lead the development of high-quality technical content, including pitch decks, reference architectures, demos, and customer-facing narratives that support sales plays, partner engagement, and campaign execution.
  • Customer-Facing Presentation: Present at Oracle events, executive briefings, and workshops as a cloud infrastructure expert. Deliver clear, engaging sessions that align OCI capabilities to customer challenges and outcomes.
  • Field Marketing & Sales Alignment: Partner with field sales leaders to understand regional priorities and tailor marketing efforts accordingly. Support account-based strategies with aligned content, messaging, and offers.
  • Event Content Strategy & Thought Leadership: Shape session agendas and messaging for Oracle-led field events, such as technical forums, test drives, and partner showcases. Ensure technical rigor, consistency, and alignment with current market trends.
  • Campaign Development & Activation: Contribute to the planning and execution of digital and paid media campaigns, ensuring OCI content is discoverable, relevant, and actionable. Drive engagement through curated offers like test drives, credits, and hands-on labs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, Cloud Engineering, and Demand Services to ensure message alignment, technical accuracy, and execution readiness.
  • Segmentation & Personalization: Help refine targeting strategies based on customer profiles, industry, and maturity level. Customize content assets and offers for specific verticals or high-potential accounts.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, technical marketing, or product marketing—ideally in cloud infrastructure, IaaS, or enterprise IT.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP), multicloud strategies, and enterprise cloud adoption patterns.
  • Familiarity with core OCI services including compute, networking, storage, containers, security, and AI infrastructure.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to connect technical features to real-world business needs.
  • Strong content development experience, including technical presentations, solution briefs, demo scripts, and campaign assets.
  • Experience working directly with product and sales teams to align go-to-market efforts.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with a confident presence at customer events.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
