Orthopedic specialty ASC in the Chico/Butte County area looking for a Patient Care Technician!  We are looking for highly skilled team members to help grow this center. The Patient Care Technician is a staff member who maintains the stocking of equipment/supplies, cleaning of the Center, and assisting the nurses and Surgical Technicians in preparation for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedure duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
Patient Care Technician duties will consist of, but are not limited to:

Stocking of new deliveries (supplies and equipment).
Daily checks with stocking the Center in its entirety.
Cleaning and room turnovers of the ORs per the Center’s policy and procedures.
Assist with patient positioning in the ORs.
Assisting with general duties asked by the other staff members.
Be always professional and courteous.
Follow HIPAA privacy guidelines.
Multi-tasker, team player, adaptable, and organized a must.

QualificationsQualifications:

Must be organized and efficient, with solution-based thinking.
Must have team-oriented attributes.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess knowledge of supplies and equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have current BLS or ACLS certification.
Must possess knowledge of proper cleaning technique per the Center’s policy and procedures.
Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and written.
