The department is responsible for the areas of accounting, reporting, design and management for the financial reporting processes, as well as the accounting system of Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH (DTFS). In addition, we act as a contact for internal departments of DTFS GmbH as well as its subsidiaries and the central departments of Daimler Truck AG. For this exciting and challenging area, we are looking for an Inhouse business consultant for asset accounting (AA) processes (f/m/d).

As an In-house Business Consultant, you will be responsible for the development and support of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services Group (DTFS). This also includes the proper integration into the system and process landscape of the local DTFS companies, as well as the integration into the Daimler Truck Group. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Support in the development of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group. 

• Customizing of Asset Accounting module in SAP 

• Governance of Asset Accounting processes of our company 

• Definition and Governance of our system roles authorization  

• Ensure the stabilization and the daily business operations of the already live markets 

• Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies 

• Coordination of local process requirements and interfaces in cooperation with IT 

• Support of continuous development to make processes more efficient 

• Efficient introduction of new requirements from internal regulations of standard setters and regulators 

• Support in the upgrade to S/4HANA for the Asset accounting part.
