Job Description:

Applies the principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate computer software that provide business capabilities, solutions, and/or product suites. Provides systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery of technical solutions is on time and within budget. Researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies. Provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Analyzes requirements, tests, and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May focus on web/internet applications specifically, using a variety of languages and platforms. Defines application complexity drivers, estimates development efforts, creates milestones and/or timelines, and tracks progress towards completion.

Strong exposure with IBM WatsonX , Cloud based solutions and a proven track record delivering complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on knowledge of AI/ML platforms with disciplined project management skills, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions. They will lead AI acceleration POD / WDA during onshore time working with Business with understanding of Watson , drive delivery through HR collaboration and support ITC team being a POD lead .Position will also bring ownership in driving BPO Incident deflection and align , own the delivery per commitments.

Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from manager.

AI & WatsonX Delivery

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions using IBM WatsonX, including WatsonX.ai, WatsonX.data, and WatsonX.governance.
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures and model development strategies.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to operationalize AI models at scale.
• Oversee AI model lifecycle management, including versioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and governance.

Project Management

• Manage end-to-end project delivery using PM best practices—scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive project planning, resource forecasting, sprint cadence, and overall governance.
• Ensure all project documentation, change controls, and compliance requirements are completed accurately.
• Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate alignment among technical and business partners.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, and executive leaders.
• Provide clear, structured communication on project status, risks, timelines, and dependencies.
• Conduct executive-level presentations and project health reviews.

Quality, Governance & Risk Management

• Oversee data governance and AI governance frameworks leveraging tools and framework.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, model performance, security, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security standards, and PMO methodologies.
