West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute are seeking a candidate for a Clinical Instructor position in the Department of Neurosurgery. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurosurgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidate must have completed a neurosurgery residency program. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Our state-of-the-art institute serves not only West Virginia but a large patient population from four border states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia. We provide the most advanced therapy for all neurological conditions with the latest cutting-edge technologies ranging from deep brain stimulation, advanced spine procedures, neurotrauma, and more. The program is part of many national and international trials. The successful candidate will have the chance to learn from our expert neurosurgical team to develop the next generation of leading experts in this field. The weekly schedule will include clinical responsibilities in the operating room, rounding on patients, outpatient clinic, and participation in department meetings.
