You will work closely with various departments such as Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, as well as the diverse and international Finance team. Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul> <li>Accurate and timely monthly and year-end close</li> <li>Compliance and external reporting requirements for AddSecure entities in multiple European countries</li> <li>Accurate account reconciliation and analysis</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with European VAT guidelines and Dutch VAT law</li> <li>Working with external Tax Consultants on CIT and Payroll Tax compliance</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with regulations from National Statistics Agencies in various European countries</li> <li>Overseeing correct accounting and compliance of processes impacting the General Ledger or external reporting</li> <li>Planning, coordinating, and executing audits for Dutch entities and ad hoc audits in other European countries</li> <li>Supporting the preparation of periodic management reporting</li> <li>Coordinating and supporting declarations and compliance for technical innovation subsidies and other governmental aid</li> <li>Driving process improvements using FinTech applications and analytics tools</li> </ul><p><strong>About you<br/></strong>We’re looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field, and have experience from an audit firm or a dynamic international environment. You value accuracy and quality, and communicate in a clear, honest, and open way. To succeed in this role, you should also have:</p><ul> <li>Experience in external reporting (IFRS, Dutch GAAP, tax)</li> <li>Solid knowledge of European and Dutch VAT regulations</li> <li>Strong MS Excel skills</li> <li>Fluency in English, both written and spoken</li> </ul><p>Meriting: </p><ul> <li>Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or MS Business Central</li> <li>ERP set-up knowledge and/or ERP migration experience</li> <li>Knowledge of database query tools and/or BI tools</li> <li>Knowledge of productivity tools like MS Power tools and/or FinTech tools</li> <li>Proficiency in Dutch and other European languages</li> </ul><p><strong>We offer</strong></p><p>Our employees are our greatest asset and for us it is of great importance to build a culture where our employees thrive and want to perform.
