Licensed Practical Nurse - Cleveland Cardiology - FT - Days (67871)

The LPN Clinical position will assist in the day to day operations of clinical staff in the outpatient clinic ensuring the optimal, quality patient and family centered care.  This includes assisting in clinical processes, staffing, scheduling, training, workflow processes, quality improvement and risk reduction initiatives. 

To perform nursing services and set standards to assure professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered in a physician office setting.  Responsible for accommodating the needs of the physician by controlling patient flow, preparing patients for exams and aiding physician with routine procedures.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Licensure: Current LPN License in the State of Tennessee, Current CPR Certification

Experience: 1 year in a physician office practice or hospital preferred

Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Tennessee. Knowledge of clinical patient care, the ability to use critical thinking skills, highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting, demonstrates evidence of exceptional leadership skills, positive communication, and collaboration with patients, families and other health care team members, maintains core values that are consistent with quality patient/ family centered care, and maintains a positive attitude toward other team members
