Job Description
Do you enjoy working with numbers and providing meaningful support to the operations of a business? If so, we are looking for you! Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services, LLC (Eurofins PSS) is searching for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for generating internal reporting of key performance indicators to assist the business, generate customer billing, customer account reconciliations and collections efforts with assigned accounts.
Business Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assists with identifying and standardizing operational financial and non-financial related items for teams to be used in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis
- Develop and provide reporting method of key performance indicators to the leadership through the use of Microsoft Power BI
- Accurately and efficiently perform project billing on a bi-weekly basis for assigned client accounts
- Monitor and provide leadership updates on client spend versus contract/purchase orders
- Reconcile customer accounts and review overdue customer balances in order to perform collections as needed through client contacts and project leadership both verbally and through written communication
- Recommend and implement process improvements when appropriate
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would posses:
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and attention to detail, high energy and organization and project management skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Comfortable with dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work efficiently to meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Motivated, self-starter that multi-tasks, manages simultaneous projects and maximizes outputs through individual and collective collaboration to meet all deliverables.
- Experience in making reports within Microsoft Power BI preferred
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college or related major).
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
