Senior Engineer - API

You will be one of the first technical persons on the team, and you will have an important role in laying the foundation for a product offering that makes it super easy to integrate with essential elements of our Veo product offerings at an API level.<br/>We offer a unique opportunity to play a central technical role in a complex, high-growth company on an exciting journey. There has never been a better time to join Veo.<br/> <h3>What you will do:</h3> <ul> <li>Significant hands-on technical contributions to the product</li><li>Review code to ensure a high standard of team deliveries</li><li>Act as a knowledgeable sparring partner on architectural and technical topics</li></ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with server-side API design</li><li>Good sense of what makes a good API</li><li>Broad experience with relevant technologies like REST, API Gateway and Open API</li><li>Experience with a range of relevant backend technologies</li><li>At home with agile methodologies and CI/CD</li><br/><li>High standard of work and natural role model for more junior engineers</li><li>Accustomed to working in a high-paced agile environment</li><li>productive team member while being a leader at heart</li><li>Comfortable delivering and receiving constructive feedback</li><li>Contributes energy towards creating a positive team spirit</li><li>Advanced verbal and written English communication skills</li></ul>At Veo, you'll be part of a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement.
