Lab Technician-Industrial Technology, Part Time

This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis.

Major Responsibilities include:

·        Organize and maintain Mfg. lab, Tool room and other labs.

·        Assist Program Chair and Faculty, including answering questions from students regarding lab projects, teaching demonstrations., etc.

·        Prepare equipment and materials for labs.

·        Perform minor repairs on equipment.

 

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma required; Mechanical aptitude; good communication skills; ability to work independently; and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: Technical Certificate or completion of INDT beginning level classes so you are familiar with the lab equipment.

Working Hours: Day and/or evening hours to be arranged.
