About the role

<p>We are looking for a structured and independent academic employee<strong> </strong>to help us with downloading and checking primarily satellite data. </p> <p><strong>The job</strong><br/> Your primary responsibilities will be: </p> <ul> <li>downloading of satellite data and checking the availability of wind speed and direction</li> <li>Extract satellite data for specific locations on Earth</li> <li>Download and store ground-based data to be used for validation purposes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our expectations of you</strong><br/> We are looking for a academic employee<strong> </strong>who has an interest in satellite data and wind energy, and that has basic knowledge about computers and software. You must be able to work independently, be able to use English as a working language. You are in the process of achieving a relevant higher education at bachelor level or similar. </p> <p><strong>What we offer in return</strong><br/> We offer you a varied job with personal challenge, where you help and support scientists with routine tasks including downloading of data.</p> <p><strong>Salary and appointment terms</strong><br/> The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. </p> <p>Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexible. </p> <p>The employment is permanent  and starting date is July 1st, 2025. </p> <p>The workplace is DTU Risø Campus.</p> <p><strong>Application and contact</strong><br/> Please submit your online application no later than <strong>Wednesday, 25 June 2025</strong>.
