The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Florida’s legacy accounting, payroll and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. The Department of Financial Services (DFS) is leading this statewide initiative, which impacts stakeholders and users of the State’s financial data including all State agencies.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Four (4) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline may be used as an alternative for the years of required experience.

 

Additional requirements:

• Three (3) years of experience in auditing, disbursements, accounting, financial reporting, and/or technical experience (i.e., requirements gathering, data analysis, development, testing, and implementation) for accounting systems.

 

Preferences:

• Experience in State of Florida Asset/Property management or accounting and Lease management or accounting.
• Experience working in team environments (i.e., as a leader or as a member).
• Experience performing business analysis functions, including working with subject matter experts, business users, or stakeholders to gather information, document expectations, and develop the desired outcome
• Experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, testing and/or implementation of financial management system(s).

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

 

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
