WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a key member of the Braze People team, the Project Manager, People Operations is responsible for supporting and enhancing the operational processes of People Systems, People Solutions, and People Analytics to align with business objectives. You will lead efforts to improve operational efficiency through sprint management, workflow optimizations, and process improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, People Operations, this role sits within People Operations but collaborates closely across the broader People Team driving seamless execution and continuous improvement.


RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Project Manager, People Operations, you will:

  • Own and drive the team’s sprint process from sprint planning, kick off meetings, to retrospectives, ensuring structured and efficient execution
  • Generate regular reports on sprint metrics to support operational decision-making
  • Serve as an administrator for the team’s internal ticketing system optimizing workflows to improve service efficiency
  • Act as a Project Manager for small-scale integrations and process improvement initiatives, coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Support the execution of the SOX auditing process, ensuring workflow tracking aligns with compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure SOX processes are audit-ready and aligned with compliance standards
  • Own the planning and execution of contract renewals for all People Department systems and tools, ensuring timely processing and budget alignment.
  • Manage purchase orders (POs) and track renewal timelines, coordinating with stakeholders for seamless execution
  • Ensure consistent documentation of sprint workflows, system configurations, and operational processes to support team knowledge sharing and scalability

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing Jira projects, automations, and system configurations (preferred).
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS, such as Workday, and an internal ticketing system (a plus).
  • Experience using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Effective and transparent communicator, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities to drive results.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness in all work.
  • Collaborative team player, working cross-functionally to drive improvements and operational excellence.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $72,000 - $85,500/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $80,000 - $95,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
