What You'll Do:
As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, providing front-line employee life cycle support to their designated site(s) and perform day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and employee data management. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. The role will collaborate closely with HR Partners and HR COEs to understand their specific needs and challenges and provide support in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Provide support and answer HR-related questions from employees and managers.
- Manage the employee exit process. This includes being the first point of contact after an employee submits their MyHR submission, supporting managers, and collaborating with HR partners, as needed.
- Assist with unemployment claims in the Case Builder system.
- Serve as the point of contact for leave management and ADA accommodations, while working with HR partners as needed.
- Manage I9 files and conduct audits to ensure compliance. Additionally, handling severance agreements and processing employee changes in MyHR, such as position changes, bonus structure changes, and org chart updates.
- Participate in site-specific events and encourage employee participation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
- Maintain accuracy on the bulletin board and ensure communications are printed and posted throughout the site.
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation sessions (as needed), ensuring new hires have the necessary information and proper resources. Additionally, maintain the orientation program to ensure it is up to date and relevant.
- Participate in employee investigations as needed and stay informed about ongoing employee investigations onsite.
- Participate, as representative of HR, in site leadership activities which support the workplace culture.
- Build relationships and establish trust with internal customers (i.e., front-line supervisors, site management team, employees).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs, participate in the recruitment process, conduct interviews, and assist in the selection and onboarding of new employee
