We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Product Manager, Software in Billerica, MA.
What You’ll Do:
- Create a clear vision for each software package within the Quanterix portfolio and develop new software offerings that make software a value added and differentiated component of our ultra-sensitive platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, and own the customer success of software product introductions (NPIs). Responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives.
- Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with customers including key accounts.
- Identify new product directions: work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction and develop, conduct and use voice of customer research.
- Support product planning in conjunction with engineering and field teams to deliver optimal service levels for products; analyze usability and customer preferences
- Work closely with outbound marketing, R&D and commercial leads, and all stakeholders in the matrixed environment to translate your vision into commercial success
- Write clear, testable and user centric requirements that guide implementation
- Guide feature ideation and development of wireframes to support implementation
- Develop insightful and impactful of go-to-market launch plans for software products
- Represent Quanterix at scientific, medical, regulatory, business and other professional meetings
- Develop and deliver product marketing training to global Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Model and strengthen culture of high impact collaboration, working cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, and Product Development to expand and amplify the precision health ecosystem
What We’ll Expect From You:
- BS degree in a scientific, engineering or computer science discipline
- 3+ Year working directly with a life science software product in a compliant environment (CLIA, GMP, IVD etc.), preferably as part of a protein/DNA quantitation total solution that includes hardware, software, reagents and services
- 3+ years of direct product management, product marketing, technical marketing, applications or pre-sales scientific support experience in life sciences or medical device industry with domain expertise in protein biomarker applications
- Deep understanding of current life science software compliance requirements (21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA)
- Experience writing software user and product requirements (MRD, PRD) documents for software that supports sample setup, data acquisition and data analysis of quantitative analytical assays
- Demonstrated effectiveness in marketing, product management, and / or strategy roles including leading market analysis, strategic planning, and new product development and commercialization required
- Experience with software development, scrum methodologies and cloud based architecture
- Experience creating new and differentiated software solutions in legacy applications
- Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, with proven ability to be assertive while building productive cross-functional relationships;
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead through influence across the organizational matrix
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for precision health, and an authentic appreciation for the Quanterix mission with a desire to bring a collaborative spirit and strong relationship building, both internally and externally
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic innovation-oriented work environment
- Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally
