Could you be the full-time Test and Commissioning Leader in Miami, FL, we’re looking for?
Your Future Role Take on a new challenge and apply your detail-oriented expertise in a cutting-edge field, collaborating with dedicated and supportive teammates. In this role, you will lead the effort to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of our railway vehicle signaling systems. On a daily basis, you will work closely with various teams across the organization (including Engineering, Safety Validation, Planning, and Quality Assurance), supervise installation processes, and engage in a variety of essential activities. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough system compliance checks, verifying field tests, and authoring critical test procedures and reports. We will look to you for:
- Management and execution of Installation, Testing, and Commissioning activities for vehicle retrofits
- Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s standards, regulations, and local laws
- Verification and validation of system requirements and testing procedures
- In-depth troubleshooting and identification of sustainable solutions
- Effective communication and reporting within the project team and with customers
- Experience in planning, resource allocation, and team development
- Providing regular updates through periodic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Project Reports, as well as resolving deviations, delays, and other issues that may hinder field activities
- Recording Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), accurately maintaining test sheet records, and reporting results to system validation to facilitate punch list roll-out
- Utilizing Installation and Testing & Commissioning processes, tools, and the T&C Reference Library to optimize performance
- Commitment to key project milestones, leading their execution on-site
- Producing Means and Methods documentation for vehicle retrofits
- Managing field personnel and activities on-site, ensuring proper planning and training of resources to meet project milestones while complying with local regulations and EHS rules
- Performing Installation PICO (Post Installation Check Out) and conducting Static and Dynamic tests to verify the proper functioning of onboard equipment

- Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or equivalent combined experience and technical education (in electronics, electrical, computer, railway, or telecommunications)
