About the role

Overview

As an Experienced Cloud Architect, you’ll help design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient Azure solutions that support critical digital transformation. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business to translate requirements into cloud architectures, contribute to migrations and hands‑on deployments, and ensure smooth transitions into operations. Working with cross‑functional partners, automation tools, and governance frameworks, you’ll help shape reliable cloud services that make a meaningful impact for our clients and communities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions by applying established architecture standards and guidelines.efficient cloud solutions by applying established architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to capture business requirements, translating them into secure, scalable, cost‑efficient cloud solutions.
  • Support assessments of current cloud technologies and assist in aligning solutions with business objectives and efficiency targets.
  • Participate in the deployment of cloud solutions by performing hands on configuration and implementation tasks and supporting smooth transition into operations.  
  • Work with cross functional teams and managed partners to help deliver standardized and consistent cloud services.
  • Prepare and maintain solution level documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational handover materials
  • Contribute to governance activities (e.g., architecture reviews, change reviews) by providing input and ensuring alignment with established standards  
  • Interface with operation teams to ensure seamless transition of cloud services into operations
  • Assist in cloud migration activities, including discovery, planning, execution tasks, and optimization efforts within defined workstream
  • Review new cloud offerings of interest for organizational alignment

 

Technical Requirements:

  • Solid experience with core Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure AI Services, and container-based workloads (AKS or Container Apps considered an asset).
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture best practices, including scalability, availability, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Hands on experience supporting cloud migration initiatives using tools such as Azure Migrate and database migration tooling  
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and Automation Tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, Azure CLI, Python/PowerShell, Git).
  • Understanding of general & cloud-specific networking stack
  • Experience contributing to or implementing Azure Policies  
  • Exposure to cost governance (FinOps) concepts and the ability to incorporate cost considerations into solution recommendations  
  • Strong ability to produce structured solution documentation and collaborate effectively across engineering and operational teams.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of specialization in cloud engineering or architecture roles within enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience contributing to the design and implementation of Azure cloud solutions..  
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ 104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ 305), or equivalent
  • Strong communication abilities and collaborative working style.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $75,600.00  - $129,800.00
