Operational Risk Management Senior Specialist

Position Responsibilities:
Risk Identification and Assessment (30%):
- Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization.
- Analyze historical data and trends to forecast potential risks.
- Identify risk profiles for various business units and projects.
• Risk Mitigation (15%):
- Evaluate risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure best risk management practices.Policy and Procedure Development (15%):
- Develop, review, and update risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure all policies comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.Reporting and Documentation (25%):
- Compile comprehensive risk reports for senior management and risk committees.
- Maintain detailed records of risk assessments, mitigation measures, and incident reports.
- Utilize risk management software and tools to document and track risks.
• Training and Education (10%):
- Conduct risk management training sessions for employees at all levels.
- Develop educational materials and resources to promote a risk-aware culture.
- Stay updated on the latest risk management trends and technologies.Stakeholder Management (5%):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for risk management inquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with external risk management consultants and auditors.
- Participate in risk management committees and working groups.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CRM, CRMP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance competing demands with little management direction/support.
- Ability to manage high Visibility and high-risk consequences.
- Effective communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
