THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Columbus, OH Plant has an opportunity for a Powerhouse Operator in our Energy Center.
Equipment in scope of responsibility:
- Boilers
- Air Compressors & Dryers
- Refrigerant Chillers
- Ammonia Compressors, Condensers, Chill plates
- Reverse Osmosis Systems
- Carbon Filtration
- Fire system
- Waste Water Treatment
- Critical HVAC Units
- Supporting Infrastructure – piping, pumps, valves, motors, steam traps, steam pushers
- Equipment operation – efficiently and reliably
- Equipment maintenance - troubleshooting and repair (daily rounds)
SHIFT + PAY
This role is 3rd shift 11p – 7:30a, with occasional weekends needed.
$38.66/hour, plus 5% shift differential for any hours worked between 3:00p – 7:00am
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years work experience working with industrial utilities systems or industrial electrical/mechanical systems
- Active State of Ohio 3rd Class Stationary Engineers license (SSE). Must be able to provide proof of this license.
- Licensed boiler operator
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintenance Mechanic
- Pipe fitting/welding
- Certified Backflow Tester
- Boiler Operator
- Small project (less than $50,000) execution
